Jacquemus Debuts First-Ever Mountain Shop in the French Alps' Courchevel

Jacquemus has touched down in Courchevel, a luxurious, world-class ski resort located in the French Alps’ Tarentaise Valley, to open its first-ever Mountain Shop.

Titled “LES VACANCES AU SKI DE JACQUEMUS,” the wintertime storefront takes cues from the brand’s Parisian boutique on Avenue Montaigne. From the outside, the outpost welcomes visitors with a rack of iconographic snowboards posted up on an exterior rack and a silver-toned Christmas tree peeking out from its window.

Upon entrance to the cozy, neutral-toned space, guests are welcomed by Jacquemus’ much-loved accessories, including its Le Bambino bag, which take centerstage on the shop’s decorative podium. The label’s signature Winter 2023 ready-to-wear pieces, meanwhile, line racks on either side of the room.

In his signature fashion, creative director Simon Porte Jacquemus crafted a number of innovative advertisements to promote the space, which he shared on Instagram over the weekend. Among them, the designer sent both a platter of silver Le Bambino bags and a Christmas tree down the resort’s slopes on a pair of Jacquemus-branded skis, and he also put his famous Le Chiquito bags on a conveyor belt that likens itself to those used by beginner skiers.
