Conor McGregor shows off incredible body transformation from 'Young Tasty' to 'Mr Tasty' as he prepares for UFC return

CONOR McGREGOR has shown off his incredible body transformation ahead of his highly-anticipated return to UFC action.

The Notorious hasn't fought since last July where he suffered a horrific broken leg in his trilogy fight defeat against lightweight rival Dustin Poirier.

But he is nearing a return to the octagon, with his manager Tim Simpson stating he will be back competing this year.

And the Irishman, 33, is looking in great shape in photos posted by a fan of him at lightweight (155lbs) and now at welterweight (170lbs).

McGregor was quickly to reply to the snaps, as he tweeted: "Young Tasty and Mr. Tasty Shots!"

The former featherweight and lightweight world champion has fought previously at welterweight.

He made the two-division jump to face Nate Diaz in March 2016 after blasting out Jose Aldo in 13 seconds.

His last victory in UFC came at welterweight where he knocked out Donald Cerrone in the first round two years ago.

McGregor's coach John Kavanagh has hinted that his fighter may not return at lightweight where he has competed in his last two outings.

During an Instagram Live the SBG Ireland chief, he said: "You might have seen some extreme pictures of Conor from years ago when he was fighting in the lower weight classes in the UFC.

"They were very extreme and they were all done under the eyes of a medical professional.

"Even he himself wouldn't ever go back to those weight classes now.

"It's not healthy, and it's not for the long term.

"I would encourage you to look at his more recent pictures he's putting up on Instagram.

"Look how big and strong that looks. That's what it is to be a fighter, get big, get strong, and be healthy for life."
