Love Island star Francesca Allen exposes acne scars as she ’embraces’ skin journey

Love Island star Francesca Allen took to Instagram and shared some snaps of her acne scars as she is “learning to embrace them”.

Francesca, 27, posted the video with the sunlight shining on her makeup-free face, with the caption: “Really learning to Embrace my acne scars, and just how far I have come on my skin journey”.

“Next step I’m taking up is derma pen although I’ve been quite scared to go as it includes some downtime so have been putting it off”, the star said with a laughing emoji at the end.

In a separate image, Francesca zooms in on her cheek and says the sun shows up the “pitting”. The star also revealed on Instagram how she used to hide her acne in photos.

Francesca, who appeared on the fifth season of Love Island said: “The sun really shows up all the pitting so many of you DM saying how immaculate it looks but its lighting and angles and I always have my hair down!”

“This was another way I used to hide my initial acne with constantly having my hair in my face”.

Love Island’s Francesca is also a bride-to-be since getting engaged in December 2021 to businessman Ed Crossan.

She was seen on social media last month at the Rosewood Hotel to try on some bridal items and said: “To all my future wife’s I’m about to show you some incredible items! What I choose, where are how I would wear”.

She then proceeded to try on some beautiful bridal outfits, including some stunning pieces that she might wear for her hen do.

Francesca announced her engagement news on Instagram, posting a gorgeous snap of the proposal, where her other half Ed can be seen down on one knee at the top of a set of stairs as she leaned down to kiss him after saying "yes".

A second photo showed the Love island star sitting on her beau's lap and stretching out her hand to show the stunning oval diamond ring on her finger.

In the caption, she told her fans: "The best Christmas present a girl could ask for [red heart emoji] I’m marrying my best friend!!!!! I still can’t believe it," followed by two in love emojis.

Fellow Love Island stars were quick to offer their congratulations with Yewande Biala writing: "OMG so happy for you Fran ! Congrats to you both”.

Teddy Soares also added: "Congratulations!!" with a black heart emoji.
